We’ve reserved room blocks at two different hotels in Solvang, which is located just 15 minutes from our wedding venue. All three hotels listed below are shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations.

We’ve reserved all 15 rooms at this charming 2-star inn located in downtown Solvang. To book your stay, please call the hotel directly and request a room under the Sam and Jessa's Wedding room block. Any unbooked rooms will be released to the public on September 9, 2026.

The Hamlet Inn

We’ve reserved all 13 rooms at this quaint hotel located one block away from the Hamlet Inn. To book your stay, please call the hotel directly and request a room under the Sam and Jessa's Wedding room block. Any unbooked rooms will be released to the public on September 9, 2026.

Viking Inn

This 3-star hotel features a bar, lounge, and pool. We don’t have a room block here, so we recommend booking early, as rooms tend to sell out quickly.

Vinland Hotel and Lounge

This is the closest airport to Santa Ynez and is located 40 minutes from the venue.

Travel

We’ve arranged shuttles to transport guests to and from the three hotels in the Travel section and the wedding venue, as Uber and Lyft are very limited in this area. More details will be shared as we get closer to the date! You’re welcome to drive yourself to the venue instead. Parking is available onsite, but if you plan to drink, please make safe arrangements in advance.

The Santa Ynez region is the heart of Santa Barbara wine country, so wine tasting is a must while you're here! You'll find countless local wineries and tasting rooms in the area. If you're staying in Solvang, this charming town is known for its Danish-style architecture, quaint streets, and Danish bakeries offering authentic pastries. Solvang was named the "Best Small Town in the West" in 2025.

we recommend their $10 olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting! our favorite combo is blood orange olive oil with cranberry pear balsamic vinegar.
